Cleaning & Care
How you care for your Soléis depends on what they're made of. Our sandals are water resistant and easy. Anything with faux fur, suede or cork is spot clean only — the care note on every product page tells you which one you have.
Sandals — vegan leather
Wipe clean with mild soap and water. That's it.
Can I get them wet? Yes. Your Soléi sandals are water resistant — don't worry about sweaty feet, and wear them to the ocean, the pool or the lake without a second thought.
They aren't indestructible. Like any sandal you actually wear, they'll show the wear and tear that comes from wearing them.
Faux fur — slippers and fur clogs
Spot clean only. Faux fur isn't water-friendly. Please don't soak them, machine wash them, or put them in the dryer.
Blot marks with a barely damp cloth, let them air dry away from heat, then brush the pile back up with your fingers or a soft brush. If there's hardware, wipe it dry after wet weather.
Suede-like vegan leather
Brush dust off with a soft dry brush and lift marks with a barely damp cloth, then let them air dry away from heat. The suede-like finish isn't as forgiving as our smooth vegan leather — keep these out of the pool and the ocean.
Cork footbeds and heels
Keep the cork dry and wipe it with a dry cloth. Cork doesn't like soaking or direct heat, so no radiators and no sunny windowsills to dry them out.
Satin details
Satin marks with water. Clean the footbed and sole as usual, keeping soap and water away from the satin, and spot clean the detail itself with a dry or barely damp cloth — no soap. Don't wear these in the pool or the rain.

- Air dry, always. Never a dryer, a radiator or direct sun.
- No washing machine — not for any style.
- Store them somewhere dry, out of direct sunlight.
- Everything we make is 100% vegan. There's no animal leather to condition or oil.
